    What areas do you service?

        We are based in Dayton and service the Perth Metro Area and surrounding suburbs. As a guide, we service up to a 25km radius from the Perth area. Please contact us to find out if we service your suburb. 

    Do you work with asbestos?

        Roofology does not work on asbestos roofs.

    How do I arrange for Sean to come out and give me a quote?

        To arrange a quote appointment with Sean, please call Chaley on 0400 885 490 or fill out an email enquiry form.

    How does our waitlist work?

        We have a waitlist in place for quote inspection appointments with Sean. When you contact Chaley to arrange an appointment, you will be added to the waitlist.


        Wait times for an appointment with Sean vary, and due to ongoing demand for our services, our wait times have extended significantly in recent years.


        Due to ongoing demand and our extended wait times for an appointment with Sean, you are able to make other enquiries if needed without losing your place on the waitlist.


        Unfortunately, it is not possible to keep everyone on the waitlist updated regularly. You can follow up at any time with Chaley to see how the waitlist is progressing. 


        You will be contacted closer to the date that your appointment can be scheduled. Once a quote is accepted, there is usually another waiting period before the job can be completed.

    When does Sean quote?

        Sean does quote inspections and any follow-up visits on Saturdays. 


    What time does Sean quote?

        Sean quotes between 8:30 am and 2pm on Saturday.


        If you prefer a morning or afternoon appointment, please let Chaley know when organising the quote. Although our best efforts will be made to accommodate your request, we are not always able to offer preferred times.


        The quote appointment schedule is finalised midweek. Appointment times are confirmed by text on Thursday. Appointments must be confirmed by the close of business on Friday or the appointment will be canceled.

    What happens if it rains on my appointment day?

        There are many people who think it’s easier to investigate and fix roof leaks when it’s raining. In fact, when your roof is wet it can be slippery and dangerous, even for roofing experts.


        We do not advise anyone to get on a roof when it’s raining and Sean does not inspect or repair roofs in inclement weather. In most cases, Sean is not able to properly assess the problem and will need to revisit again, when it’s not raining.


        If it does rain, we will contact you and reschedule your appointment time for an alternative day. If we do not get in contact before your appointment, you can expect Sean at the arranged time.

    What if Sean can locate and fix the problem on the spot?

        In the instances when Sean can both locate and fix the problem during the quote inspection, our minimum charge starts at $330 (including GST).


        For larger jobs that require more time, additional materials, and another site visit, Sean can sometimes put in a temporary repair when he is inspecting the roof. A temporary fix is not guaranteed to fix the problem, but rather an effort to minimise possible water damage before Sean can return to complete the permanent repairs.


        If Sean can put in a temporary repair, the same minimum charges apply. 

    When will I receive my quote?

        You can expect to receive your quote via email the following week, after the Saturday appointment.

    I have received my quote. I want to go ahead. What is the next step?

        To accept the quote please send an email or call Chaley. We will confirm the start date with you as soon as we can.

    Do you require a deposit?

        No, we don’t require a deposit when you accept the quote. 


        Given that Sean can sometimes have an extended lead-time on jobs, we don’t ask for a deposit. Paying a deposit doesn’t mean Sean will get the job done any faster.


        No deposit also means the pressure is off Sean and he can concentrate on getting the current roofing job done properly. 


        When Sean gets to your job, his mind will be 100% focused on the job at hand. We have found that ‘doing the right thing by the client’ usually means there are no problems when the time comes for the client to pay. 

    What is the approximate turnaround time once a quote is accepted?

        Once a quote is accepted, the usual turnaround times are approximately 8-12 weeks. Once we have scheduled your job, we will be in contact to confirm the proposed start date.


        Many variables impact our estimated timeframes, so if your job is delayed we ask that you be patient. 


        We always do our very best to get jobs done as soon as we possibly can.

    Why is there a long lead-time?

        As the Principal Tradesperson at Roofology, Sean is responsible for assessing your roof and providing solutions. 


        We do not subcontract out our work, Sean does all of the roofing work himself and there are only so many hours in a day, and days in a working week. 


        Weather delays are common and if Sean has unexpected issues on a job, or materials are not available, our job schedule is delayed.


        Roofology has established a good reputation within the industry, and clients are usually prepared to wait for his services, regardless of the lead time. 


    Does anyone need to be home for Sean to complete the job?

        Provided Sean can access the area he needs to work on, generally, no one needs to be home for Sean to be able to complete the work once the quote has been accepted.


        When Sean does the initial inspection, he will clarify if someone needs to be home, or if alternative arrangements for access are needed for him to complete the work.

    What payment options are available?

        Payment in full is due on completion of the job. 


        EFT transfer is our preferred method of payment. 

        Unfortunately, we do not take credit card payments.


        The invoice will be emailed to you once Sean completes the job.


        If there are any problems, please make sure you contact Chaley before Sean completes the work to discuss possible options or alternative arrangements. 


        Failure to make prior arrangements regarding these payment terms may incur late penalties.

    Do you have a workmanship warranty?

        Sean's workmanship is covered by a two-year warranty. 


        Roofology uses only quality products that are covered by its own manufacturing warranty.
